Shipping
Orders can be shipped in a variety of ways in Direct Response™, and there are a number of quality control checks to ensure that packages leave the fulfillment center accurately.
- Service levels can be configured to automatically adjust order priority or ship time to meet any special carrier or billing needs
- Confirm print is a quality control step that requires the pick/pack supervisor to verify that all orders in Direct Response™ have been physically printed. This safety step ensures that an order that has been placed is actually received by the pick/pack supervisor
- Barcodes on the pick/pack slip ensure the proper inventory will be picked from the correct purchase order and location
- The bar-coded pick/pack slip is scanned at the time of shipment to auto-populate the order information and complete the shipping process
-
Pick/Pack slip includes the following information:
- Warehouse/bin location
- Item number
- Item revision
- Quantity
- Purchase order number
- Shipping address
